Salvaging & Restoring the last Seaplane Tender in Africa. |
|
Early on the morning of December 21st, a large contingent of people congregated on the Air Force Base at Langebaanweg in the Western Cape—South Africa, to take part in the lifting and moving of ST-433 to her temporary new home at AFB Ysterplaat’s Restoration Centre. The support and exceptional help the SAAF personnel gave us with not only their personnel but also their vehicles was greatly appreciated and we realize that without them—ST-433 would not have been moved. In acknowledgement I have listed the people involved in the move on the volunteer’s page. |
