Salvaging & Restoring the last Seaplane Tender in Africa.

Volunteers

Without Volunteers, no Salvage or Restoration Project can be attempted—especially not the project that awaited us with ST-433. She has been left to the elements, stripped and neglected for so many years and a lot of TLC is needed to get her back in the water again.

These were the people that are involved with her move for Restoration

Peter owns Goose Adventures and his involvement with ST-433 started when he was approached to save & restore her. During the past couple of months he has spent most of his time related to the Seaplane Tender.

To the following people my thanks—Guy Ellis, Charles & Alexander Moody, Rob Mahaffee, Col. Jaques Niemand, Kassie Caarstens, Matrass van Staaden, Willie Burger, Debs & Steve Corner, WO Abrahams, Sgt Rule,

Did I miss any names? - if so it was not intentional and I wish to express my since thanks to everyone involved for a super job well done! Although ST-433 still has a lot of work to be done… she has al least been given a start to a new lease in life.

Not mentioned before was Genl. Page, Col. Niel Thomas and Kirk Kinnear from the SAAF Museum—thanks guys for your input, help and input over the months to transfer the ST. The space allocation at the Restoration Centre has saves the ST no doubt.
